How often do I need to clean my roof?
ROOFS ONLY NEED TO BE SOFT
WASHED EVERY 2-3 YEARS
STEP 1
REMOVE DEBRIS
Our technicians will use blowers and soft bristle brushes to remove moss, pine needs, branches, and other debris from the roof first. Once the roof has been cleared, we can begin using soft bristle brushes or rubber to remove large growth.
STEP 2
APPLY SOFT WASH SOLUTION
Once the roof has been cleared, our technicians will apply a soft wash solution comprised of sodium hypochlorite, surfactant, zinc and water. This will kill all organics on the roof all the way down to the roof under the shingle within 15-20 minutes.
STEP 3
DWELL & RINSE
Once the treatment has had enough time to dwell, we will perform a final rinse that will remove most of the organics the same day. Alternatively you can allow the remaining growth to fall off naturally with rain water within 4-12 weeks.
